Meeting and assistance on arrival. Transfer to the Hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi Morning tour of Delhi - Visit Raj Ghat, Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Stay overnight stay at the Hotel. Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur (260 kms - 5 hrs) Early morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at the Hotel in Jaipur. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Visit Maharaja Jai Singh's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal and through the pink rose residential and business areas. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jaipur. Day 4 : Jaipur Morning - Visit Amber Fort with an Elephant ride till the main entrance of the fort. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Rest of the day is free with an optional visit to Chokhi Dhani Resort - built in ethnic Rajasthani style with a lot of activities ranging from Camel ride, Puppet show, Snake charmer to Handloom clothes, followed by a specialised Rajasthani/Continental Dinner. Return to the Hotel for another overnight stay in Jaipur. Day 5 : Jaipur - Agra (245 kms - 5 to 6 hrs) Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Abandoned city) enroute. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other famous Palaces. Arrive in Agra and check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day is free for Leisure activities. Stay overnight at Agra hotel. Day 6 : Agra - Delhi (206 kms - 4 hrs) Morning - Visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later, visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also, visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Drive to Delhi in the afternoon. Transfer to International Airport to board flight for return journey. | Send Enquiry | |  |  | | Same Day Agra by Car | | Delhi - Agra (203 Kms 4.5 Hrs Approx) Taj Mahal in Agra is an incredible example of Love. It is a perfection of architecture in white marble which took 22 years to build by 20,000 skilled artisans who inlaid the white marble edifice with precious and semi precious stones. The Agra Fort from where one can get the most moving view of the Taj from the little octagonal tower in the Agra Fort which lies across the river Jamuna. 0630 to 1245 hours Drive to Agra through the Indian country side. Upon arrival pick up guide from the representative office or Hotel and later proceed to the Taj Mahal to see the architectural modern day wonder of the world. This monument is built in 1652 by Emperor Shah Jahan. 1300 to 1400 hours Proceed to Hotel Trident/Howard Park Plaza/Taj View for the buffet lunch. 1400 to 1500 hours After lunch visit the Agra Fort built in red sandstone with its magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and the beautiful gardens. This is where Emperor Shah Jahan was kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from across the river Jamuna. 1500 to 1530 hours Visit a marble factory to see the beautiful inlay of precious and semi precious stones into the marble. 1600 to 1630 hours Finally before driving back to Delhi, one can make a brief visit to Sikandra the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, a magnificent garden tomb. Return to Delhi around 2130 hours and drop at your hotel.
